Prompt Atelier collects your AI prompts in one place instead of scattering them across notes, chat histories and text files. Search for the right prompt, fill in the highlighted fields in a form, check the result in the preview and copy the finished text with one click. Shared workspaces with roles make team collaboration possible, and a trash plus retained earlier versions protect against loss. The application runs on your own machine or server: free under the MIT licence, with source code you can inspect, with no provider account and no data leaving your installation.
Features
Library with full-text search
Search covers title, description, body and tags, results can be filtered and sorted. Spelling variants like „Größe“ and „groesse“ are resolved, and even across 5,000 stored prompts a search answers in around 12 milliseconds.
Variables instead of copy and adjust
Placeholders in double curly braces automatically become form fields, with a label, default value, required flag and selection lists.
Live preview
The finished text is assembled as you type, so you see right away what you'll end up with.
Keywords as reusable blocks
Store recurring wording once and switch it on individually, before or after a prompt.
Workspaces and roles
Personal and shared workspaces with the roles viewer, editor, admin and owner, for teams of up to 50 members per instance, with visibility set independently per prompt.
A safety net for content
Deleted prompts stay in the trash for 30 days, accidental overwrites can be undone, and earlier versions are kept.
Import and export
Prompts move losslessly as JSON or Markdown between instances, with a preview before import and command-line tools for moving a whole instance.
Five languages
The interface is available in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish, chosen per user.
Your data stays with you
Runs entirely on your own Linux or Windows machine, sized for up to 20,000 prompts per instance, and calls no external services at runtime.
